How to paint things in a glass - Piercing

Etwas in einer Flüssigkeit (meistens Wasser oder etwas anderes Durchsichtiges) zu malen, ist nicht so schwer wie es scheint. Eine Sache, die man im Auge behalten muss, ist der Linseneffekt, den ein Glas Wasser (oder was anderes) hat. Also muss man alles, was unter Wasser (oder was...) ist, größer malen. Das andere ist die optische Brechung. Das bedeutet, das ein Rührstab zum Beispiel keine gerade Linie ist. Am Wasserspiegel ist ein Winkel.
Eine andere wichtige Sache ist, das Lichter und Schatten auf der Vorderseite des Glases durch die Dinge im Glass gehen. Und Dinge in Flüssigkeiten sind normalerweise etwas "verwaschen" und hell.
Aber das wars. Ausprobieren. Tut auch nicht weh.

Painting something in a liquid (mostly water or other transparent matter) is not as difficult as it seems. One thing to keep in mind is the lens-effect, a glas of water (or something else) has. So paint bigger, whats under water (or something...). The other is, that things, half in air ans half in liquid, are "broken". That means for instance, a stick to stir with is not a straight line inside and outside the water. There is an angle at the waterlevel.
Another important thing is that highlights and shadows of the part of the glass, that is in front, go through the things inside the glass. And things in liquid are usually a bit blurry and pale.
But thats it. Try it, it doesn´t hurt.
