How to paint clouds. Cloud 7 - Pelzmantel

Eitempera - Eggtempera, 10cm x 15cm.
Wie ein großer Pelzmantel sah es aus. Ein Pelzmantel weggeworfen und nun im Flug.
Pelz donnert nicht und hat Haare und nicht Regentropfen.

Like a big fur coat it looked. A fur coat, thrown and now flying.
Fur doesn´t thunder and it has hair, not raindrops.

Farben hier: Ultramarinblau,Cadmiumgelb hell, Cadmiumrot mittel und Titanweiß. Die Klassiker, wenn man deckende Grundfarben und Weiß braucht.
Beim malen dieser Wolken hat man die seltene Gelegenheit, das Farbenmischen total zu vermasseln. Man mische so matschig wie möglich! Mit Gelb und Weiß variieren. Wenig Farbe an trocknem Pinsel. Den Pinsel nicht mit Wasser waschen währebnd man die wolken malt (es soll ja so matschig wie möglich werden!)
Übrigens: Ich habe noch einige Wolkenfotos gefunden. Die sind so seltsam, man muß wirklich surrealismus meinen, wenn man die malt.

Colours used here: Ultramarine light, cadmium yellow light, cadmium red medium and titanium white. The classics of opaque if you need primary colours and white.
At painting these clouds you have the rare opportunity to completely ruin a colour mixing. Get as muddy as you can. Vary it with white and yellow. Use little colour on a dry brush. Don´t clean the brush with water during painting the clouds (you need those muddy colours!)
By the way: I found some more cloud photos. They are so weired, you really have to mean surrealism, if you choose such clouds to paint.
