Es war ein Tannenzapfen, und der wollte gar nichts von dir. Du konntest nicht mehr gerade stehen und bist mit dem Auge dagegengetorkelt.

Wenn man etwas unscharf, verschwommen malen will, unscharfe Kamera, sozusagen, ist das recht einfach zu machen.
Man male die Dinge so genau und scharf wie möglich. Dann nehme man einen neuen, trockenen Pinsel und gehe damit entlang der Kontrastlinien der Dinge, solange die Farbe naß ist. Wenn das nicht unscharf genug ist, wiederhole man das, oder nehme einen größeren Pinsel und "zittere" ein bisschen beim Entlang gehen jener Linien.

If you want to paint something which is not clearly visible, blurry, unfocussed camera, somehow, it is quite easy to do that.
Paint things as clear and sharp as possible. Then take a new, dry brush and go along the contrast lines of the things, as long as the paint is wet. If that is not blurry enough, repeat it or take a bigger brush and "shiver" a bit while going along those lines.
